24% Zinc Mineral Tallow Stick - 1 oz or 2oz 
 
I created this mineral stick as a daily-use balm for skin that needs both nourishment and support from the visible effects of sun exposure. It is made with 24% non-nano zinc oxide together with grass-fed tallow, beeswax, organic jojoba oil, a touch of sea buckthorn oil, and vitamin E for a smooth, rich stick that feels supportive and comforting on the skin. The small amount of sea buckthorn helps soften the more ghostly look that mineral formulas can sometimes leave behind. 
 
Research has suggested that up to 80% of visible facial aging is linked to UV exposure, which is one of the biggest reasons I wanted to create a rich, mineral-based stick centered around non-nano zinc oxide and deeply supportive fats and oils. (Flament et al., PMID: 24101874)
 
Unlike many mineral sticks that can feel overly dry, chalky, or harsh, I wanted this formula to feel more beautiful on the skin while still staying simple and purposeful. Tallow gives the formula a deeply nourishing base, beeswax helps create a solid and dependable stick, jojoba improves glide, and sea buckthorn adds a touch of warmth to the finish. I especially love this as part of a daily anti-aging routine, since ultraviolet exposure is a major driver of photoaging, including wrinkles and changes in skin texture over time.

How to Use:
Apply as the final step in your morning skincare routine. Glide gently onto the skin and blend evenly with clean fingertips if needed. Allow it to settle, then apply makeup on top if desired. Reapply as needed during extended outdoor time. Daily use is especially helpful because UVA rays can pass through window glass and are strongly linked to visible skin aging.
